Appoint your district’s delegate for the 2017 ASBSD Delegate Assembly

ASBSD’s Delegate Assembly is the time and place to establish your state school board association’s legislative direction and share your district’s view on key legislative topics.

 

Delegates will vote on ASBSD’s resolutions and standing positions, which set the legislative path for the 2018 legislative session.

“ASBSD member districts need to be represented at Delegate Assembly to share input on the legislative direction of the Association,” ASBSD Executive Director Wade Pogany said.

 

 

“It’s imperative your district’s voice is in attendance and heard.”

 

ASBSD wants to hear from all member districts at Delegate assembly and request you submit the name of the school board member who will be serving as your district’s delegate. Your district can submit your delegate’s name in one of two ways, either:

This year’s Delegate Assembly is set for Friday, November 17 at the Ramkota RiverCentre beginning at 1 p.m. (CDT) and scheduled to conclude at 5 p.m. (CDT), but may run longer depending on discussion.
