New and veteran school board members looking to learn more about the roles and responsibilities associated with their service should join ASBSD Leadership Development Director Dr. Randall Royer at one of ASBSD’s upcoming Board Member Roles and Responsibilities Workshops.
“From newly elected to first term to experienced board members, these workshops will benefit all school board members” Royer said.
“Come learn as a team and enhance everyone’s knowledge base”
The workshops will focus on school board governance, education law for board members, policy making, board-superintendent relationships, the difference between governance and management, and board meeting procedures and protocols.
Attending board members earn 40 ALL points for their board.
