ASBSD serves our members by acting as a unifying voice for local school boards and public education, representing local school boards at the state and federal level. Year round, ASBSD closely monitors issues and examines the potential impact on education and keeps members informed on emerging and ongoing issues.
ASBSD takes a year-round approach to government relations activities. Working closely with ASBSD Policy and Resolutions Committee and providing several opportunities for members to give their input on education issues allows ASBSD to build more effective and influential relationships with members and government representatives.
ASBSD member districts voted to approve the 2017 Legislative Resolutions and Standing Positions (click each link to download), which sets the legislative direction for the Association, at Delegate Assembly.
