If you’re looking to fund a health activity in your school district, the Wellmark Foundation wants to help.

 

The foundation is awarding 35 Community Kickstarter grants Iowa or South Dakota for projects, such as community gardens, bike-share programs, playground and park renovations, nutrition and fitness challenges or farmers’ markets, just to name a few, for up to $10,000.

 

Submit your project application at Wellmark.com/Foundation by Sunday, Sept. 20.

 

School district patrons and community members can vote your district’s project, as well, so make your application creative.
