ASBSD Board of Director elections

Delegate Assembly offers board members the opportunity to declare their intention to seek a seat representing the region and enrollment category their district is on the ASBSD Board of Directors.

Representation on the Board of Directors is broken up by four regions (Central, Northeast, Southeast and Western) and enrollment categories (Over 10,000, 1,400-9,999, 700-1,399, 266-699 and 265 and under). To see which enrollment category and region your district is in, click here.

This year there are six seats available on the Board of Directors (year of next election):

  • Central Region – 1,4000-9,999 (2017)
  • Central Region – 266-699 (2014)
  • Southeast Region – 700-1,399 (2017)
  • Western Region – 1,400-9,999 (2014)
  • Western Region – 700-1,3999 (2015)
  • Western Region – 265 and under (2017)

Board of Director terms are four-years in length and terms begin in February of next year. Please note three seats will be up for election prior to 2017. Those seats were vacated or filled by appointment and ASBSD by-laws require they be up for election to complete the term.

In order to serve on the Board of Directors an individual must be a member of their local board.
