In 2017, up to $2.5 million in grants will be awarded.
The Workforce Education Grants require a one-to-one match, meaning the full amount requested from the state grant funds must be matched in an equal amount from non-state grant funds, and the match may come from in-kind and/or monetary contributions by the LEA, community contributors, or business and industry partners.
Grant applications are due by Monday, November 21 and awards will be announced by December 21, with projects provided the ability to begin in January 2017.
