ASBSD is set to answer your legal questions at this fall’s School Law Seminars.
The School Law Seminars will feature a 90-minute bonus session on Tuesday night explaining the updated conflict of interest law passed during the 2016 legislative session and a full-day Wednesday session covering a demonstration from the South Dakota Highway Patrol’s Police Service Dog Unit, minor boundary changes and school reorganization, board vacancies, ethics and incompatible offices, transgender individuals and many other key school law topics.
There are three registration options:
- Tuesday Night – $75 first registrant per-district, $50 each additional registrant
- 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
- Wednesday Only – $115 first registrant per-district, $90 each additional registrant
- Sioux Falls & Rapid City – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m.
- Both Days – $165 first registrant per-district, $140 each additional registrant.
Districts sending more than one individual receive the discount stated above. Members of the ASB Protective Trust’s Property/Liability fund can send one individual to both sessions for free!
