Early Sunday morning (May 25) the school district, community and town of Hoven suffered a catastrophic loss when the Hoven High School building was destroyed by fire.
Host of junior and senior high school students for more than 60 years, the building was left with little that is “salvageable” according to the high school’s website. At this time future plans for the building and the district are unknown.
When one of our member school districts suffers a great loss, we all feel it as a group and must band together to do what we can.
If you would like to make monetary or material donations to the Hoven School District, you can do so by sending donations to the Hoven Service Club, PO Box 404, Hoven, SD 57450.
The district is currently compiling a list of items they may need and will share it with ASBSD when it is complete. ASBSD, in turn, will communicate the list with districts.
If you have questions please contact the ASBSD offices at 605-773-2500.
