ASBSD is bringing the latest in our lineup of events aimed at assisting school board members and administrators with the negotiations process.

 

Join ASBSD Director of Policy and Legal Services Gerry Kaufman and expert School Law Attorney Rodney Freeman as they review the collective bargain process and examine the negotiated agreements of school districts whose school leaders are in attendance. Board members attending can earn 30 ALL points for their board and administrators attending will earn 4 CEU’s!

 

 

“The workshops offer attendees the opportunity to have the provisions in their district’s negotiated agreement reviewed, with the goal of having it advance their preparations for upcoming contract negotiations,” Kaufman said.

 

“We really would like the attendees to bring their current negotiated agreements to the workshop. We’ll also review collective bargaining laws and procedures as well as answer attendee questions.”

 

The cost to attendee a workshop is $110 for the first registrant per district and $75 for each additional if completed 3 days in advance of the workshop and $150 for the first registrant per district and $115 for each additional after. No Meal will be provided at the workshops.

 

A $25 cancellation fee will be assessed, if not completed 3 days prior to the event.
