School board members and administrators, ASBSD is looking forward to seeing and hearing from you at our 2016 Fall Region Meetings.

 

ASBSD Executive Director Wade Pogany will stop at 10 locations across South Dakota to discuss potential legislation for the 2017 session and gather feedback on ASBSD’s legislative platform (download drafts of our Standing Positions and Resolutions).

 

 

You’ll also receive detailed information on the latest services offered by ASBSD, including our online policy services, which is dedicated to streamlining your district’s policy process, and the multitude of board development training options we offer member districts, including our new board recognition program, which recognize school boards for their dedicated and ethical service to South Dakota. Check out August’s “ALL Scoreboard.”

 

 

Region meeting dates and locations include:

 

The meetings are scheduled to run from 5:30-8:15 p.m. with a meal served at 5:30 p.m.

 

There is a $20 fee and registration is required to provide a count for the meal provided before each meeting. Registration cancellation must be made 72 hours prior to the meeting or a $15 fee is incurred.
