Policies of a school district, especially those negotiated with bargaining representatives for the protection of teachers, have the full force and effect of law, and legally bind the school district.

ASBSD’s new sample Bullying policy – NEPN Code: JFCD – and exhibits – NEPN Codes: JFCD-E1, JFCD-E2 and JFCD-E3 – replace the current policies, exhibit and regulation, as follows:
- JFCD: Cyber Bullying
- JFCE: Student Bullying
- JFCF: Hazing
- JFCE-E: Harassment/Bullying Incident Report
- JFCE-R: Student Bullying
ASBSD’s new sample Complaints Against School Employees policy – NEPN Code: KL – and exhibits – NEPN Codes: KL-E1, KL-E2 KL-E3 – replace the following sample policies:
- KL: Complaints from the Public
- KLD: Public Complaints about School Personnel
School board members and school administrators from ASBSD member districts may access these two new ASBSD sample policies and the accompanying exhibits by going to the ASBSD Online Policy Reference Manual at http://policy.asbsd.org.
