ASBSD’s Delegate Assembly is the time to establish your state school board association’s legislative direction and share your district’s view on key legislative topics. Appointed delegates will vote on ASBSD’s resolutions and standing positions, which set the legislative path for the 2021 legislative session.
Please submit your appointed delegate’s name and information by Tuesday, November 10, in one of two ways, either:
- Complete the delegate appointment form (click to open or download the attachment from the Publications & Forms page under the Event Documents header) and return by email to tpickner@asbsd.org or via fax 605-773-2501, or;
- Simply forward your delegate’s name and contact information to tpickner@asbsd.org.

This year’s Delegate Assembly is set for Friday, November 20 and will be held via the online webinar platform Zoom beginning at 1 p.m. (Central) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Additional information about ASBSD’s plan to hold Delegate Assembly online will be provided to your district’s appointed Delegate, as well as superintendent, in order for them to plan accordingly.
