ASBSD has updated and uploaded the 2014-15 edition of our School Board Handbook.

 

 

The handbook provides school board members with an introduction to serving on the school board as it delves into the public school system in South Dakota, school board governance, the roles and responsibilities of school board members, a school district’s leadership team, policy development, measuring student achievement, public relations, strategic planning, school finance, advocating for education, the role of ASBSD and quasi-regulatory organizations.
