Krogman elected 2nd V.P. of ASBSD Board

White River School Board Member Louann Krogman has been elected as the Second Vice President of the Associated School Boards of South Dakota.

ASBSD’s Second Vice President serves an integral role on the Association’s Executive Committee, which comprises the leadership team of the 18-member Board of Directors.

Krogman was appointed as an At-Large representative for ASBSD’s Central Region in 2019 and has been a very active participant in ASBSD events having completed school board trainings, participated in region meetings and attended the Association’s annual convention.

The 2020-21 school year marks Krogman’s sixth year on the White River School Board during which time she has served on the district’s Handbook Review and Interview committees. She is a retired educator.

“With her experience in the classroom and the boardroom, Louann brings a great deal of knowledge of school district operations to the role of Second Vice President,” ASBSD Executive Director Wade Pogany said.

“We’re thankful for Louann’s commitment to the ASBSD Board.”
