As a leader in school risk, ASBSD partnered with the School Leaders Risk Management Association (SLRMA) to provide our member districts FREE access to a variety of checklists and best practices focused on school board and district protection.
SLRMA is a not-for-profit organization that collects, analyzes and disseminates federal school board legal liability risk management information by providing timely articles, valuable self-audits and essential checklists on their website: http://www.slrma.org/.
“This is a very valuable service for school boards and administrators,” ASBSD Executive Director Wade Pogany said. “SLRMA provides school officials a vast array of respected resources and indispensable information.”
“We hope all of our members will take time to review the available resources, which can be accessed at no cost to them, and put these practices to use in their school.”
The SLRMA website is routinely updated to bring you relevant case law updates and school policy pointers and produces a quarterly newsletter, which this quarter provides updated self-audit checklist concerning Transgender and Gender Non-conforming students.
The SLRMA website does require a login and password to access the valuable school risk information and your district’s information has been previously provided to your district’s administration.
