With the passage of each piece of Gov. Dennis Daugaard and the Blue Ribbon Task Force’s education funding proposal, the state’s funding formula has transformed immensely.

 

To help explain the changes brought about from Senate Bill 131, Gov. Daugaard’s Chief of Staff Tony Vehnhuizen, Deputy Policy Advisor Patrick Weber and DOE Finance and Management Director Tami Darnall recently discussed the new formula with a group of superintendents.
