ASBSD Board members started the year with a meeting prior to this year’s ASBSD-SASD Convention.
The Association’s Board of Directors welcomed a new member, as White River School Board Member Louann Krogman was appointed as an At-Large representative for ASBSD’s Central Region.
The 2019-20 school year marks Krogman’s fifth year on the White River School Board during which time she has served on the district’s Handbook Review and Interview committees. She has been a very active participant in ASBSD events having completed school board trainings, region meetings and the Association’s annual convention.
“Louann brings immense experience in the field of education to the ASBSD Board of Directors,” ASBSD Executive Director Wade Pogany said. “She spent many years in the classroom and school building as an educator and has done a great deal to enhance her knowledge of school board work.”
“We’re happy to have Louann join our team.”
In addition, Steve Kubik of Winner and Julie Schwader of Howard began their latest terms on the ASBSD Board of Directors, as they were re-elected to represent the Central Region’s 700-1,399 enrollment category and Southeast Region’s 266-699 enrollment category, respectively, and Angie Ross of Hill City was re-appointed as an At-Large representative for ASBSD’s Western Region.
“It’s great to have this trio return to their positions on the Board of Directors,” Pogany said. “Each brings a great deal of experience to the board and we’re thrilled to have them on our team.”
