IRS extends 2018 due dates issuing health coverage forms

The IRS recently announced (12/22) it has extended the 2018 due date for certain entities to provide 2017 health coverage information forms to individuals.   Insurers, self-insuring employers, other coverage providers and applicable large employers now have until March 2, 2018, to provide Forms 1095-B or 1095-C to individuals, which is an automatic 30-day extension

ASBSD Board meets for final time in 2017

Suicide prevention training provided by ASBSD and SafeSchools

SafeSchools offers South Dakota school districts a one hour suicide awareness and prevention training course, which meets the state’s training requirement for the initial certificate and renewal certificate of a teacher, administrator or other educational professional.   The Youth Suicide Awareness and Prevention training requirement comes from the passage of 2016’s Senate Bill 129, which establishes certain suicide awareness
