Associated School Boards of South Dakota extends deepest sympathies to the family, friends and colleagues of Representative Sean McPherson.

 

The people of South Dakota have lost a dedicated public servant and very honorable man in Rep. McPherson.

 

“We’re deeply saddened by the passing of Rep. McPherson,” ASBSD Executive Director Wade Pogany said. “He was a pleasure to work with in the legislature. He was always respectful of opinions and willing to listen.”

 

Rep. McPherson served two years in the legislature and was a member of the House Education committee both sessions.

 

“We’ve lost an honorable legislator and individual,” Pogany said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those who knew Rep. McPherson.”
